In addition to advocating for our communities' issues in philanthropy, convening grantmakers interested in LGBTQ issues, and providing the most consistent research on LGBTQ grantmaking by U.S. foundations, Funders for LGBTQ Issues has galvanized resources to develop the following practical tools for grantmakers to enhance their grantmaking practices.

Grantmakers at retreat Developed in partnership with the Foundation Center, our newest online resource is a data visualization platform—focusing on the field of LGBTQ issues. Containing the last ten years of data on LGBTQ grantmaking, it will allow users to plot the location of grantmaking on world maps, drill down for details about organizations and grants, explore emerging trends by viewing maps with aggregated grantmaker and grant data, and more.

The Common Vision Guide to Structural Change Grantmaking
This online guide presents lessons learned from the experiences of a learning community of two regional funder collaboratives. In addition to the experiences modeled by the two cohorts, the Guide includes practical steps and tools for grantmakers seeking to engage in structural change grantmaking, as well as resources that informed the work.
